OVERVIEW
• visual: while transformed into the magical girl princess inferno, she is scantily-clad in a decorated black bikini with fishnets and flame-motif stockings. her most notable accessories are the scorpion's tail attached to her backside, and the princess tiara atop her head, a trademark for the group of magical girls she belongs to. she has fiery red and black hair - literally, two tufts sticking up from her head to resemble flames. her eyes are just as blazingly bright with hues of red and orange.
inferno is a bit shorter than her human appearance, standing at 5"5'. she appears to be around 16 - 17 years old.
a full visual of her appearance as inferno can be found here.
as her human self, akari hiyama is described to be a bright and refreshing high schooler who dresses fasionably, notably referred to as a gyaru. she has soft, medium-length brown hair, and dons many cute accessories on her person. she's also been noted as being particularly tall for a japanese high schooler (5"6').
though akari doesn't have a visual in canon, i imagine her to look similar to yuzu aihara from the series citrus.
• personality: princess inferno is described to be a child at heart and tends to act as such, to the point she is likened to an actual child's level by the other pure elements, including the elementary schooler princess tempest.
her solution to many of her problems is to punch people, and she thinks getting into dangerous fights is fun. she's very excitable, and while she isn't very smart and doesn't think things through as thoroughly as she should, her heart is in the right place. inferno is passionate and prioritizes others over herelf. when she cares for someone, it's very fiercly so.
though her appearance is that of a gal, she also loves sports and often laments that she can't run like she used to due to an injury.
• background: before she was princess inferno, akari hiyama lived a relatively normal life. always bright and popular, akari was a star runner throughout her childhood until she sustained an injury to her knee that no longer allowed her to run like she used to.
one day, akari received a text message inviting her to become a real magical girl at an abandoned location in the middle of nowhere. figuring that it was a shady hoax meant to attract vulnerable children, akari went to the meeting place with the intention of punching whoever set the whole thing up. much to akari's surprise, she ran into one of the neighborhood children who happened to be friends with her little sister, mei higashionna, as well as two other girls. a woman called professor tanaka introduced herself and distributed to the girls four tiaras. in the blink of an eye, akari and the other girls had really transformed into real magical girls.
it was from then on that the magical girls known as the pure elements were born, tasked with the duty of protecting earth from intruders known as the disruptors. underneath professor tanaka's watchful eye, the pure elements operate and train out of an underground laboratory they use as a home base.
the pure elements never question why it is they have to use pills to transform, nor do they question the mysterious professor tanaka that gave them their powers... not until the professor cuts off contact, and the real truth behind the creation of the pure elements unveils as several unknown magical girls gather to their base to capture them.
OOC
• backtagging: yes! as i'm a slow player, i rely on backtags to finish a thread. if i don't tag back within a few days, feel free to give me a poke as a reminder. • threadhopping: i would rather avoid. • fourthwalling: no thank you! • offensive subjects: none.
IC
• physical contact: i'm open to it! inferno is the type of person who will be very affectionate with her friends, and would be the same with a partner. • romance: yes! f/f only. • fighting: i'm down with fights with inferno, as she is a skilled fighter while transformed into princess inferno. each magical girl in her canon is given a unique magic - inferno's is "to fight enemies with the power of fire." she mostly does this with the aid of her black and red guandao that she often carries with her while transformed. • injuries or death: possibly with discussion. • offensive subjects: mahou shoujo ikusei keikaku is an inherently violent series. princess inferno's arc, known as jokers, is particularly gruesome, dealing with child death and murder. if you would rather avoid mentions of the darker aspects of inferno's story, please let me know and i'll be sure to steer clear of them!
